Center Parcs runs 28 resorts across Europe, and seven of them are in France. They range from Villages Nature Paris, a short ride from Disneyland Paris, to Les Landes de Gascogne in the southwest, and each one pairs woodland or lakeside cottages with an indoor water park the brand calls Aqua Mundo.

Where are the Center Parcs resorts in France?
Four resorts cluster in the northern half of the country, within reach of Paris, Laon, Metz and Verneuil-sur-Avre. Two sit in west-central France, in the Sologne and near Poitiers, and one is in the southwest at Beauziac. The table lists them roughly from northeast to southwest, using the region and reference town Center Parcs gives.

Conflicting figures: Center Parcs’ resort list gives Villages Nature Paris seven slides, while its “which Center Parcs to choose” page says six. We show both.
The seven Center Parcs resorts, one by one
Villages Nature Paris
The brand puts it 30 minutes from Paris and 15 minutes from Disneyland, which makes it the obvious pick for a first trip to France with kids. Beyond the Aqua Mundo there are outdoor lagoons, a lake, forest, a teaching farm, vegetable gardens and the Forest of Legends play area.
- Best for: travelers without a car, or a Disneyland Paris add-on.
- Getting there: RER A to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, then bus 47 (details below).
- Lodging: cottages, including Premium and VIP tiers, or apartments.
Le Lac d’Ailette
Set at Chamouille near Laon, in the Aisne, this resort wraps around a lake used for paddleboarding, pedal boats and canoeing. Its Aqua Mundo has the most slides of any French site, 13, plus a wave pool, a wild-water river and an outdoor pool heated year-round.
- Best for: slide-obsessed kids and families who want water sports on the lake.
- Getting there: Laon station is 15 km (9 miles) away; Paris airports are 145 km (90 miles).
- Nearby: Center Parcs points to the Champagne cellars of the region.
Les Trois Forêts
Near Metz in Lorraine, this is the largest site we found a figure for: 435 hectares (about 1,075 acres) of forest. The Aqua Mundo’s seven slides include the Master Blaster, 190 m (623 ft) long, and the Deep Nature spa is billed by Center Parcs as the biggest in Europe.
- Best for: families who like themed cottages (fairy tale, adventure and forest-animal designs).
- Keep in mind: it is one of only two French resorts with a spa.
Les Bois-Francs
The Normandy resort, at Les Barils near Verneuil-sur-Avre, is the one with golf: an outdoor 9-hole course pitched at beginners. The Aqua Mundo has a wave pool and four slides, and the brand mentions fully renovated cottages and an animal farm.
- Best for: mixing a first round of golf with pool time and farm animals.
- Getting there: Verneuil-sur-Avre station is 9 km (6 miles) away; Paris-Orly is 115 km (71 miles).
Les Hauts de Bruyères
In the Sologne woodlands near Chaumont, this resort is flagged “renovated” on the brand’s list, with refreshed cottages and a fully redone Deep Nature spa. Its Aqua Mundo has four slides and a wild-water river, and some cottages sleep up to 12.
- Best for: multigenerational groups and adults who want spa time.
- Nearby: Loire Valley châteaux, which Center Parcs suggests reaching by bike.
Le Bois aux Daims
Close to Poitiers and the Futuroscope theme park, this resort offers treehouses and a wildlife observation point. The Aqua Mundo counts eight slides, three of them inside a double water-tree structure, plus a Cenote Pool with try-dive sessions.
- Best for: pairing with a Futuroscope day, or a night up in the trees.
- Keep in mind: it is the only French resort where Center Parcs advertises scuba initiation.
Les Landes de Gascogne
The only southwestern resort, at Beauziac in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, leans on outdoor swimming: a wave pool, open-air pools and three slides. Its teaching farm covers 23,000 m² (about 5.7 acres), and you can sleep in a treehouse or a farmhouse cottage.
- Best for: young children who love animals.
- Keep in mind: fewer slides than elsewhere, more outdoor pools.

Good to know: Center Parcs’ access pages say parking is free for staying guests, either in the main lot or the lot for your cottage cluster. Day visitors pay an entry fee that varies by resort.
Can you reach Center Parcs France without a car?
Villages Nature Paris is the easy one. Take the RER A to its Marne-la-Vallée Chessy terminus, then bus 47 to the “Villages Nature” stop; Center Parcs’ page dated April 5, 2024 gives the bus fare as €2 per person per ride, paid to the driver. Flying into Paris-Charles de Gaulle, a TGV reaches Marne-la-Vallée Chessy in 10 minutes.
Two other resorts have a rail station nearby: Verneuil-sur-Avre for Les Bois-Francs (9 km, 6 miles) and Laon for Le Lac d’Ailette (15 km, 9 miles). The brand does not list a shuttle from either station, so plan on a taxi or rental car for the last stretch.
